Welcome to MeetWell.
I've spent years trying to figure out how to develop better client relationships.
The lesson is it always comes down to finding something fresh and unique, which means staying on top of a bewildering number of events, trends, and experiences.
MeetWell exists to simplify this process and give you some new ideas (and all the details to make them happen). Figuring out how to use your expense account shouldn’t be such a pain.
Now let’s get you spending less time on the Ticketmaster concert schedule, and more time on the fun stuff like figuring out where the hell you’ll park!

Warehouse Supper Club In Venice

Foodshop is a monthly private dining experience at a chic industrial warehouse space in Venice. It’s BYOB, the menu is fixed, and food is served family style at long communal tables.
The menu is shared via email early in the month with available dates often including Thursdays (here’s an example menu).
Location: Venice (given upon confirmation)
Time: 7pm
Date: Select dates Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Cost: Usually $90-110 per person
Important: They accept credit cards for groups of 8 or more. If your group is below that, be sure to ask about it when you confirm so you don’t have issues getting reimbursed.
Private Room: You can rent a private room for 15-20 people
Cost: $130 per person.
Perk: Get to arrive 30 min earlier to come in and have a cocktail
Important note: This has to fall on the same day as one of Foodshop’s existing communal nights.

Added Value: I dig this because in addition to being a generally cool, unique LA experience, it’s not overly expensive (by LA standards), and they can usually accommodate adding new people in case more clients want to come.
I celebrated my birthday here a few years ago, and after trying to reserve 20 spots, they countered me with a challenge to rent out the whole place. The challenge was accepted and through an act of truly divine intervention when it comes to LA flakiness, I wrangled nearly 50 people to dinner on a Friday night. The only thing worse than organizing your clients to get somewhere is organizing your friends.
Dodgers Day Game - Wednesday, June 17th at 12:10p vs Tampa Bay Rays

There are only a handful of these midweek gems each year. There’s a lovely afternoon energy, a lessening of the usual logistical traffic crush, and the unparalleled joy of not getting home super late.
If you can find a client willing to ditch work and join you for a day at the ballpark, this is a great one to make it happen.
The cool part is that, along with throwing back a few brewskis while discussing serious business topics, you should actually get to see a decent game since the Rays are one of the other best teams in baseball.
Also given the odd timing, you can often pick up seats at a decent price.
Date/Time: Wednesday, June 17 at 12:10p
Tickets: Ticketmaster, Stubhub, SeatGeek
Added Value: I grew up in Chicago where Cubs day games were relatively common. One summer afternoon in high school I ran into my old Jr. High gym teacher (the cool young guy teacher) heading out of Wrigley. We walked past his car together and found a parking ticket on the windshield. He told me these things weren't a big deal, ripped it up in front of me, and drove off.
I don’t recommend ripping up a parking ticket (even for trying to look cool in front of a teenager), but I do think that sums up the easy-breezy good times energy of a weekday game.
Tour The New David Geffen Galleries At LACMA

After a multi-year construction project that literally spans Wilshire Blvd and invited many a salty design-related comment online, LACMA has finally unveiled the new David Geffen Galleries.
(I think it looks pretty cool FWIW).
The Museum is open until 6pm most weeknights (closed Wednesday) so if you can get a client or team there around 4:30-5pm, you can wander around til close and grab dinner nearby. There’s even an Erewhon Outpost if you need your smoothie fix.
Buzz about the opening: NYT article, LA Times TikTok.
A couple dinner options close by:
Car option 1 (or 10-15 min walk, lol): Little Ethiopia is a few blocks away and is a genuinely unique and memorable LA experience. Lalibela is an excellent option (Infatuation).
Car option 2: République is a classic entertaining spot nearby, and reservations are usually relatively easy to come by (Infatuation Review).
Added Value: I once took a team to the Broad Museum and dinner downtown shortly after it opened. Honestly, I was skeptical if my clients would be interested, but it turned out to be one of my most memorable outings. Everyone got to check the box of a buzzy cultural experience and wander around on their own without needing to listen to me yap, which all made for great dinner convo after.
The Oasis 🏝
Ever been hanging with a client and conversation just completely runs dry? I know I have. Whether it’s recent and topical, or general and evergreen, this section is about giving you one idea for helping you in that moment.
Ride the D Campaign. An inspirational marketing story, when Metro LA announced the opening of the new D-Line, they decided to complement the boring press release with a series of limited merch encouraging you to ‘Ride the D’.
Knowing exactly what they were doing, our collective little Puritan brains went wild and it sold out within hours driving massive earned media.
Now back in stock at Metro in case you need a gift for a client who likes public transportation or childish internet humor.
Thanks for reading. I’m building this for sellers looking for more creative ways to connect with clients and your feedback will genuinely shape where it goes.
If there's a neighborhood I'm missing, a type of experience you'd love to see, or anything that would make this more useful, just hit reply and let me know.
