A live-action version of the Hasbro classic Clue is playing at Ahmanson September 8-12. If your clients like a good comedy or murder mystery, this is a great excuse to get out downtown.

Basics:

  • Where: Ahmanson Theatre

  • Weeknight dates: Tuesday 9/8, Wednesday 9/9, Thursday 9/10 at 7:30pm

  • Run time: 80 minutes (no intermission)

Cost:

  • $37-180 for tickets.

  • Ticket Link here.

Dinner/Drinks nearby:

  • Kendall’s Brasserie ($$-$$$): Closest option within walking distance. Swanky French brasserie vibe.

  • Abernethy’s ($$-$$$): Elegant dining option with a rotating menu on the same plaza as the Ahmanson.

  • Firstborn ($$$): Hip Chinese restaurant in Chinatown that got lots of foodie buzz.

  • Grand Central Market ($-$$): The Goldilocks option where everyone gets to choose what they want from a variety of vendors before you walk a few blocks up the hill to the show, or take Angel’s Flight for a quintessential old-timey LA experience.

Added Value: Like many of us, I can get sucked into a good murder mystery. Clue offers a fun combination of a short, reasonably priced experience that packs enough nostalgia and campy acting to keep everyone’s attention.
